Trade Show Display Challenge:

EGT, based in Atlanta Georgia, built their first display as a rental for the 2005 Cable Tec Expo in San Antonio, TX. While initially intended to be a 10 x 20 inline display, permission was requested from show management, due to placement on the show floor, to use the space under island display rules. Permission was granted limiting the overall height to 12 feet.

Given placement, exhibit design, and budget, Moose Displays & Logistics was able to create a rental display that both unique and effective. Given the limited space, we were able to furnish three product kiosks, a small storage closet, as well as a small meeting area complete with High Definition plasma screen television and surround sound stereo system.

2006 arrived with attendance at both the National Show in Atlanta and Cable Tec Expo in Denver, Colorado. For 2006, the display area grew to 20 x 20 and the display was re-designed for functionality. Additionally, 2006 also came with changes in the company logo, tag line, and Web site.

The 2006 display was designed to bridge EGT’s upgrade from in-line space to island displays. The display added a fourth kiosk, a custom reception counter, and a VIP room to show new equipment to invited guests only. In addition to these display elements for functionality, we also used a suspended light truss and pinwheel hanging sign to extend EGT’s visibility on the show floor. Their main graphics were dye sublimated on voile fabrics to be clearly seen on both sides. These graphics we also suspended from the light truss.

In Early 2007, EGT notified Moose Displays & Logistics that they had again increased the size of their display to 20 x 30. Liz Gainsford, the Marketing Manager, wanted to enhance their appearance with the construction of custom arches for their display. These custom arches were designed, and continually re-designed until we arrived at a satisfactory design within their predetermined budget.

While these arches are the focal point of the display, the design uses the existing kiosks created in 2006 with the addition of a single double kiosk, chairs and stools. Finally, a cozy seating area was created with a plasma TV for attendees to view examples of their product’s output.

EGT wanted a new look and feel for our display to better represent our growing brand and to build customer confidence. Moose Logistics took the time to really understand our company, our products and our ideas for a new booth. The design was better than we imagined, and the actual finished display exceeded our expectations. We had our best show ever and the booth received recognition for the design, traffic flow and attention to detail. As a full-service exhibition company, Moose handled all aspects of our biggest trades show for us, from design and fabrication to on-site show installation and dismantle. They were not just a vendor, but part of the EGT team.
