Synopsis:

Our initial contact with Visio was in December 2006. Their initial inquiry was for a raised floor to showcase their egg candling machine. Based on our pricing, they were able to expand their RFP to include all turnkey services, including a pre-designed exhibition stand rental display.

Moose Logistics’ original direction was to supply a pre-fabricated raised floor and carpeting. However, as the details of the design increased to include under-lighting through plexi-glass, we determined that it would be more cost effective to build a custom-raised floor. We custom cut the carpeting for the floor on-site.

Due to a limited budget, we chose to use the AGAM system to create the back wall, storage, and counters. Red quarter-inch Sintra was supplied for the wall panel inserts and cut to size. Additionally, the client chose to show a corporate DVD using a projector. Again, we chose AGAM for its versatility. To maintain the theme of the display, RED, we built a custom counter top and matched the counter top laminate to the Sintra. By incorporating shelves into the counter, we concealed the A/V system.

Finally, the client shared with us the furnishings available from the general contractor. While acceptable, they were not optimal. Moose Logistics researched the Internet and went to the Atlanta Ikea store to buy new leather furnishings, which were less expensive than the general contractor’s rental price. Visio approved the purchase of these furnishings on their behalf; they are now part of the Moose Logistics’ exhibition stand rental inventory.

The result was an eye-catching exhibition display stand highlighting their machine and providing storage and meeting space.
